PRESBYOPIA CORRECTION GUIDELINES

Dear Colleagues!

I am delighted to present a draft of the presbyopia correction guidelines developed within the project titled “Presbyopia — science for innovation, innovation for science”, undertaken by the “OKULISTYKA 21” Foundation for the Development of Ophthalmology.

The document is the result of nearly two years of work by a group of Polish experts in the fields of ophthalmology, optometry, and physics, as well as medical industry representatives who have expressed their willingness to support us in our project. With the publication, we wish to launch a public debate on presbyopia correction in Poland, and we encourage all of you to take a look at the guidelines we have developed. We believe every contribution to the discussion on ways to improve the quality of the medical services offered to patients is important, and we welcome all comments, suggestions, or proposed modifications. You can submit your feedback until October 8, 2021, at prezbiopia.21@gmail.com.

I hope you will find the attached documents interesting.

Yours sincerely,

Professor Andrzej Grzybowski, MD, PhD
